Position : Finance Coordinator
Job Description : To coordinate the business affairs of the School District in such a way as to provide the best possible educational services with the financial resources available.ResponsibilitiesPrepare and pay monthly payroll taxes and complete quarterly & yearly payroll tax reports.Supervise and evaluate the financial management staff of the Office of Business Services.Administer the Districts PCard and Fuel Cards.Assist with the preparation of financial statements to the School Board.Maintain employee position control in accordance with District Budget.Preparing balance sheet audit schedules .Prepare and post Journal Entries.Complete Banking ACH/Wires, Transfers.Assist with the Annual Budget Development and monthly budget to actual reconciliations.Assist school secretaries, coordinators, principals, and administrators with day-to-day financial questions.Performs such other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as assigned.Applicants will need to apply for the position on the School District 70 website to be considered for the job.Job Type: Full-timePay: $65,383.00 – $136,005.00 per yearBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insurancePhysical Setting:SchoolSchedule:10 hour shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Required)Experience:Governmental Accounting or financial accounting.: 5 years (Preferred)Supervisory experience in Accounting/Finance;: 5 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
