Job Description : OverviewMeyer, Inc. is a full-service logistics company that specializes in logistical and technical services for libraries and archives on a national level.We are seeking qualified individuals to assist in the relocation of book and archival collections internally at the Denver Seminary Library. Collections will be moving from their existing location within the library to a new location within the same building.This is a full time, temporary position that will begin on or about April 4th, with anticipated completion by April 22nd.Duties IncludePack books onto cartsUn-pack and re-shelve collectionsPush library cartsAssist with hanging and setting shelvesRequirementsMust be punctual and reliableMust be authorized to work in the United StatesMust be at least 18 years of ageMust be able to read, write and speak English fluentlyMust be able to repetitively reach and bend in order to shelves books on the bottom and top shelvesMust be able to lift up to 25 poundsMust have attention to detailMust be willing to adhere to COVID 19 safety policies and proceduresDesired Additional SkillsExperience working in a libraryFamiliarity with library classification systemsLibrary Science educationHours of OperationMonday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pmPaid Breaks: 15 minutes at or around 10 am and 2 pmUnpaid Lunch: ½ hour at or around noon.Job Types: Full-time, TemporaryPay: $19.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayCOVID-19 considerations:In accordance with the requirements of the institution, we adhere to all COVID 19 policies and procedures which may include daily self-health checks, wearing of facial covering, social distancing, frequent hand washing, etc.Education:High school or equivalent (Required)Shift availability:Day Shift (Required)Work Location: One location
