Position : People Operations Generalist
Job Description : Capella Space is at the forefront of making vital information about our world accessible in a timely manner. Responsibilities
Maintain relevant personnel files, documentation, and communications to ensure they are current and complete
Organize and conduct team member onboarding, offboarding, and new hire orientation
Benefits administration, inquiries, and compliance in partnership with our benefits brokerage
Coordinate semi-monthly payroll items with Finance
Answer employment-related inquiries, providing broad People Operations support to the team
Contribute and support People Ops projects and initiatives like annual open enrollment, performance reviews, training and development, etc.
Assist in development and implementation of HR policies and promote an efficient, conflict-free workplace
Provide suggestions and support with activities that drive employee engagement, talent development, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives
Desired Attributes
Work experience as an HR Specialist and/or Generalist in a startup environment
Experience with various online HR platforms (HRIS, performance management, ATS, benefits management, etc)
The ability to look for opportunities for optimization and improvement; you understand how to build things that will scale
Effective communication, across multiple verbal or written mediums
A high level of professional integrity, acting with nuance and discretion
You are passionate about creating equitable people practices, and believe that Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) are fundamental to the company’s success
You thrive and enjoy working in a fast-paced and high-growth environment
Qualifications
2+ Experience working in People Operations, Human Resources, Culture/Workplace Experience, or another related field
CO Salary Range: $60,000 – $90,000
Salary is dependent upon qualifications and is paired with comprehensive benefits package.
