Position : Facility Operator B
Job Description : Chevron North America Exploration and Production Company is accepting online applications for the position of Facility Operator B located in Greeley, CO through March 20, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
Our plant operators monitor the flows, pressures and specifications of our natural gas processing plants. Our operators remotely and manually quarterback the safe and reliable performance of our operations, overseeing daily plant goals.
Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:
Participate and support HES processes, Level III audits, BBS, JSA’s, PHAs, and PSSRs.
Participate in and support these activities: Crew emergency drills, ERT/BEC practices, CBTs, training (including refresher), OE meetings, Level III audits.
Responsible for the development of daily safety work permits, turnovers etc.
Notify proper personnel of all HES and process incidents.
Monitors project work and day to day maintenance activities for Safe Work Practice compliance.
Address any safety issues with Head Operator, Senior Plant Operator, Process Advisor, HES Specialist, and Operations Supervisors.
Observes and follows plant operating procedures and adheres to safety and environmental rules, regulations, practices and procedures to safely operate equipment during normal or emergency conditions.
Participates in training, drills, procedure and MOC reviews. · Mentors new trainees as needed.
Operates and monitors plant equipment to maintain specified pressures, rates, temperatures and volumes.
Performs minor maintenance, servicing, and lubrication of plant equipment. Reports items requiring major maintenance, prepares equipment and instrumentation for maintenance, and returns equipment to operation after maintenance.
Performs housekeeping duties including wiping up oil spills and washing equipment and floors.
Records operating data; prepares accurate operating logs and product storage forms: Gas sales rates, product storage tanks gauges, controls and maintains supplies and chemicals used in the lab and field.
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
6 months process and associated equipment operations experience. ·
Driving on a routine job basis. Valid driver’s license with a history of safe driving practices.
Demonstrated knowledge of all Gas Plant processes and control systems. ·
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of production and facility equipment.
Familiar with pneumatic/electronic instrumentation. ·
Ability and willingness to work rotating on-call shifts, weekends and holidays of assigned work schedule and overtime based on workload
Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), CMMS, and an aptitude for learning new software packages.
2 years current natural gas and liquids extraction process and associated equipment operations experience or related petrochemical industry related experience.
Familiarity with reliability efforts for a variety of safety, environmental and production related issues.
Capability of simultaneously performing multiple tasks with limited supervision.
Ability to manage time effectively, and work with minimal supervision.

The anticipated pay scale grade for this position is 9302 and the anticipated salary range for this position is 36.2 USD
