JOB DUTIES will include:
Maintaining and posting all incoming customer payments by recording cash, checks, ACH and credit card transactions into the Association Management System.
Verify validity of account discrepancies by obtaining, reconciling, and investigating information from customers and staff.
Process daily electronic lockbox check transactions from the bank by totaling and posting the deposit amounts in the Association Management System.
Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Generate monthly customer statements for review and mailing.
Mail or email correspondence to customers to encourage payment of delinquent accounts.
Perform collection efforts by making outbound collection calls in a professional manner while keeping and improving customer relations.
Answer account receivable phone inquiries and provide reliable follow up for Member inquiries.
Process time entries and related billing through the Association Management System.
Assist with related special projects as required.
Analytical mindset with the ability to collect and research data skillfully.
Demonstrated keen sense of attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Must have the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
. Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
0-2 years of prior accounting experience including accounts receivable, invoicing familiarity, account reconciliation, collections and reporting.
Proficiency in the MS Office Suite (to include strong Excel skills). Familiarity with technology and systems and able to learn quickly!
Extremely detail oriented and the ability to work in a deadline driven environment (month close, quarterly, annual).
Ability to work in a team environment with professionalism and confidentiality.
Willing to TRAIN the accounting workflow for the ‘right’ person!

POSITION STATUS: Full-time / Non-ExemptThis is a hybrid position (mainly remote work but with the adaptability to report to the office on an ‘as needed’ basis so, local candidates only apply!).
SALARY RANGE: $19.85 – $21.83 per hour DOE
This is a non-exempt, full-time position.
