Job Description : Peak View BH is a state of the art 112 bed Behavioral Health Facility in beautiful, sunny Colorado Springs, Colorado. We serve children, adolescents, adults, and older adults by providing life-altering care to countless clients who are dealing with addiction and behavioral health issues.Come and join our highly trained and dedicated behavioral health professionals and make a difference in the life of our clients and their families.Hours: Mon-Fri, 8AM to 4:30PMJob Duties:Ensuring accurate billing preparationRecording receivable activitiesIdentifying and resolving account discrepanciesKeeping electronic billing system currentSkills:A working knowledge of coding principals, billing, posting and adjudication of claimsAbility to work independently toward collection target and work collaboratively towards dept. goalsVerbal and written communication skills are professional, concise and promotes timely facilitationIncorporates an understanding of the population served and influence during collection activitiesProficient use of 10-key calculator, office equipment and assigned computer softwareAdditional Requirements- Knowledge in Excel and medical terminology.
