Job Description : The Acquisitions Analyst will work with the Acquisitions Team in preparing financial analyses for apartment acquisitions and dispositions including investment modelling and market/asset research .Responsibilities:Prepare financial models – project investment returns and conduct sensitivity analyses for prospective investments.Conduct market surveys/ competitive set analyses inclusive of performing property tours in target marketsUnderstand the investment strategies of various Griffis Residential investment vehicles and characteristics of suitable assets and assist transactions team in identifying opportunities in the marketConduct target market and asset level research. Provide comprehensive research materials as requiredCollaborate and assist with transactions team on acquisition, disposition, financing, and asset management dutiesParticipate in preparation of transaction legal documents including Access Agreements, Purchase and Sale Agreements, and Loan documentsPrepare material for and participate in Investment Committee meetingsPrepare research, investment committee memoranda, asset management reports, and other documents and reporting as requestedMaintain acquisition pipeline database as well as data used for market and investment analyses, Investor and Advisory Committee reporting, and capital raisingResearch and understand financing alternatives including lender structures, terms, and conditionsDevelop Seller and Broker contacts and relationshipsPerform ad hoc projects as requested by Executive TeamQualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
