Job Description : Active Truck PartsInventory ManagerJob DescriptionPosition Title: Inventory ManagerDescription: Growing small family business seeking an individual skilled with attention to detail, is self-motivated, doesn’t mind getting dirty, has worked around auto or truck parts, and has relevant computer skills! Job involves comprehensively managing inventory of over 700+ vehicles, and 10’s of thousands of parts, and multiple product lines. This is a good mix between being outside, sitting at a computer workstation, and collaborating with people.Successful Candidate Will Have: Ability to prioritize, and think critically and logically, and collaborate wellSelf-motivation and attention to detailAbility to lift up to 100 lbs.Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel or similar programsForklift ExperienceSome knowledge and experience with truck or auto parts, and/or warehousingExperience with office-related technologyDesire to work outside for portions of each day, and as the job demandsResponsibilities: Comprehensively manage inventory of over 700+ vehicles, and 10’s of thousands of parts, and multiple product linesMaintain integrity and control established in inventory system as a whole, company widePrioritize work to ensure completion of duties in a timely mannerProvide quality customer service when interacting with customersCommunicate and help improve any inefficiencies, storage concerns, safety issues, or process issuesHandle and care for equipment properly and notify management of necessary equipment repairs or issuesEnsure clean and safe storage locations and work areasDuties: Inventory vehicles – for parts or for saleProperly manage, oversee, track, facilitate, and update movement and info of ALL inventoryProvide paperwork for teardown and scrap processes and personnelClean workspacesManage product ordering, updating, and receivingAssist in successfully launching new products, including displaying, producing marketable facts for each line, marketable photosAssist in any reorganization, cleaning, and all other organization related projects – putting up racks, shelving parts, etc.Assist in improving and streamlining flow of parts from point of dismantle to point of sale/shipmentBenefits Include: Health Insurance401k Match ProgramProgressive Vacation TimeSick TimeDiscounts on parts purchasesJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingHealth insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Bonus payApplication Question(s):How many years experience in the auto or truck parts industry?Experience:Inventory control: 2 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
