Job Description : General Purpose: The Technical Trainer provides personalized and group training to Firm personnel in the use of Firm systems, applications, workflows and processes, as well as coordinates external and internal training programs for all Holland & Hart staff, paralegals, and attorneys.Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Conduct and support training and onboarding of new hires at Holland & Hart.Assist with design and remote delivery of computer-based and multimedia curriculum.Create and deliver direct seminars, workshops, individual training sessions, and lectures to all levels within the Firm.Build online content in LMS and develop monitoring solutions to ensure employees are completing all core new hire learning paths and other assigned mandatory trainings, such as security awareness.Work directly with case teams, practice groups, and other end users troubleshooting issues related to software applications and legal workflows.Populate and maintain Firm electronic training resources (e.g., portal, videos, blog entries, e-mail tips, as well as Learning Management System curriculum and materials).Record all incidents in the firm’s IT ticket tracking system.Coordinate with other systems stakeholders to resolve end user issues. Ensure that all assistance given follows department policies, procedures, and standards.Inform supervisor immediately of escalating situations (recurrent or non-resolvable problems, user distress, etc.). Inform supervisor of any hardware, software, or practices which are not in compliance with Firm or department policy.Understand the structure of Holland & Hart, the work of its individual practice groups, and the available shared support services.Prepare hard copy training materials for training sessions.Make recommendations to increase training efficiency and effectiveness.Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification): Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or other field relevant to training; or Associates degree in Business, Communications, or other field relevant to training with two years experience.Minimum 3+ years of experience in a training, teaching, or legal support position.Minimum 1+ years working at an AmLaw 200 firm or professional services partnership preferred.Enthusiastic and persuasive communicator able to present complex subjects in a clear and interesting way. A professional who contributes to the development of technical skills in other professionals to meet organizational needs.Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work in a very fast paced environment.Must effectively execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote)Understanding of learning methodologies in addition to being a creative problem-solver.Effective presentation and facilitation skills.Consistent, exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong customer service background and/or experience.Ability to learn new software quickly.Ability to travel and provide training/support to all Holland & Hart offices as necessary.Competencies: Functional/Technical Expertise – Understands necessary information, processes and procedures to carry out job responsibilities.Customer Orientation – Views the firm through the eyes of the customer and goes out of their way to anticipate and meet customer needs.Communication – Recognizes the essential value of continuous information exchange.Team Player – Team oriented; maintains composure and is adaptable to the changing needs of the team.Results Orientation – Maintains appropriate focus on outcomes and accomplishments.Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this position, the employee must have the ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time; manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of at least ten (10) pounds; have repetitive wrist/hand/finger movement to work on a computer and/or related office equipment; speak clearly and concisely so listeners can understand; and regularly understand the speech of another person.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by this position to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. CO salary range – $‎26.15 to $43.58.
