Job Description : House Manager(_Full -Time/Part-Time)_Company: Begin Again Institute is a nationally recognized Treatment Center working with men suffering from addiction. We specialize in the scientific treatment of addiction using a neurobiological and trauma-based approach.The men in this 14-Day Intensive Program stay in a designated recovery home and do their therapeutic work on locationOverview: As a House Manager, you will be responsible for caring for the clientele when they are not in the treatment facility. You will be responsible for demonstrating professionalism when interacting with clients and staff members while maintaining boundaries, modeling sobriety, observing client behaviors, ensuring client safety, and facilitating the clients’ daily activities per their program schedule.Currently, we are seeking a self-directed individual looking to advance in the field of Recovery related services to employ as Full-Time Resident Managers for our 14-Day Men’s addiction program.Candidates with residential treatment experience are preferred.Preferred/Required Experience: Be open to understanding and dealing with addictionThose in their own recovery for addiction must have a grounded sense of recoveryHave a valid driver’s licenseWork well as part of a team and display solid verbal and written communication skillsBe able to facilitate a therapeutic and safe living environment for clients struggling with addiction and co-occurring disorders.Responsibilities: The House Manager’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:Maintaining Home rules and schedules, supervising clients in daily living activities and responsibilitiesAttend weekly staff meetingEnsure the safety of clients at all times when in the home or being transportedEnforce policies and procedures of programingSupervise good housekeeping in the recovery home for a physically safe and healthy environment.Ensure that home is ready at all times for tours, meetings, events, etc.Transport clients in a safe and timely mannerMaintain an emotionally healthy recovery environment in an assigned homeResponsible to report any vehicle maintenance requirements or concerns to Chief Operations Officer.Facilitate groups/attend recreational or experiential activities with clientsRecord interactions and shift reports pertinent to clients’ therapeutic process and community activities in BAI data management software.Prerequisite Qualifications: High School Diploma or higherValid Driver’s License and liability insuranceBackground CheckFree from any active addictionsJob Type: Full Time/ Live in Pay: Rent, all utilities, and salary based on experienceSchedule: As determined by BAI and CandidateIf interested please contact Ed Tilton at 309-532-7447Related keywords: caregiverFull-Time Opportunity:YesCOVID-19 Precaution(s):Remote interview processPersonal protective equipment provided or requiredPlastic shield at workstationsTemperature screeningsSanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in placeHours per week:20-2930-39Work RemotelyNoThis Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:Dependable — more reliable than spontaneousPeople-oriented — enjoys interacting with people and working on group projectsAdaptable/flexible — enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in directionAchievement-oriented — enjoys taking on challenges, even if they might failAutonomous/Independent — enjoys working with little directionInnovative — prefers working in unconventional ways or on tasks that require creativityJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $225.00 – $250.00 per dayBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayOn callWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:COVID screening for clients and staff is required.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: One location
