Here’s how a Video Producer for our US Head Office office contributes to our team:
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a video strategy that aligns with business objectives and brand.
Oversee and produce video and sound projects including concept development, script writing, video shooting and editing.
Research, interview and collaborate with subject matter experts and marketing/communications staff to create engaging videos.
Work closely with executives on video messages.
Seek and identify editorial content that can translate into appealing videos, using analytics to benchmark success.
Conceptualize possible video ideas and present to executive level.
Edit video content to turn raw footage into seamless video products under tight deadlines.
Review cuts with clients/stakeholders/producers and incorporate comments to create a strong product that serves the underlying goals of the production.
Develop production schedules.
Record and edit narration and willingness to be the narrator on occasion.
Transport, set up and operate various production equipment including cameras, audio/video recorders, lighting equipment, and microphones for location and studio production.
Be willing and able to travel as needed, sometimes to remote locations, for various productions.
Perform needs-assessment to determine current and future equipment requirements and make recommendations for budgeting and procuring equipment and tools.
Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in video/audio recording, directing, and editing
High-end video filming capability (knowledge operating a Sony FS7 is a plus)
Strong storytelling skills including script writing
Exceptional time management and ability to work under tight deadlines while juggling multiple projects
Experience working in a corporate or agency setting required
Expert in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator
Strong interest in construction is preferred
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Collaborative and team-focused with the ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
The salary range for this position is between $62,720 and $78,400 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
