Position : Accounts Payable Clerk
Job Description : The Accounts Payable Clerk will primarily focus on AP as well as, sales and use taxes. This role will assist the accounting team with month end procedures and other projects as assigned.Essential Duties / ResponsibilitiesAccounts payable duties, including, but not limited to vendor maintenance, three way matching and entering of invoices, filing, etc.Assist with month end close and audit supportPrepare and file sales/use taxes in multiple jurisdictionsAttend meetings and trainings as required by the department or companySpecial projects and other duties as assignedQualifications and SkillsAssociates degree in accounting, finance, business or something similar (preferred)Manufacturing accounting experience (preferred)3+ years in an accounting roleAbility to work independently and in a team setting; handle interruptions; meet strict deadlines; able to perform research. data analysis, and handle confidential materialsStrong organizational skills; attention to detail and high level of accuracy; strong analytical mindset; excellent written and oral communication skills requiredProficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)Microsoft Excel skillsUnderstanding of US and Colorado sales and use tax regulationsWork Environment: The office is adjacent to the shop. Loud noises and vibrations from the shop are heard and felt occasionally throughout the day.Office hours are from 7:30-4:00 M-FPhysical Demands: Normal office setting, including sitting and use of computer and office equipment for long periods of time, occasional lifting ( >25#), talking, standing, stooping, grasping, etc.Job Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearJob Type: Full-timePay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per yearBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: One location
