Job Description : Director of Safety and Security :
We are looking for a dynamic, high-level Director of Safety and Security (DOSS) who will lead multi-faceted security programs with a focus on protecting company assets. He or she will develop and implement strategies that demonstrate the processes in understanding the nature and probability of catastrophic and significant risk events. The DOSS will outline in detail the plans to prevent and prepare for adverse events and emergencies, including awareness, exercises, methodologies and training for the staff. This individual will oversee and handle all major criminal, civil and internal investigations involving guests and employees. The incumbent will also ensure proper and thorough communication is maintained with senior management and governing authorities. At least 5 years of direct experience in a significant leadership role is required. Prior hospitality and security experience preferred. The following accreditations are preferred, CPP (Certified Protection Professional), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) and/or CLSD (Certified Lodging Security Director).
