Job Summary:
The Member Security Specialist will protect people and property from possible criminal activity.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Patrols and monitors an assigned area; reports suspicious activities to General Manager and/or local authorities.
Monitors surveillance cameras, inspect property and monitors crowds.
Contacts law enforcement or fire department in case of an emergency.
After business hours, checks doors, windows, and gates to ensure the property is secure.
Investigates reports of suspicious activity on the property.
Reasonably detains persons suspected of criminal activity until law enforcement arrives.
Escorts discharged staff, trespassers, and other unwelcome parties off the premises.
Sweeps of Locker Rooms (Ladies area can be a quick check around the scoring/card room) Look for any suspicious activity. Report to General Manager.
They will have to pay attention to people who are coming in and report any suspicious activity Example: A pickup truck with cages on the back and hunting dogs would not belong on campus.
Look for signs of tampering with anything like large equipment or vandalism of places like the Mountain Bar or other outbuildings.
A checklist of areas inspected can be maintained each day.
Guard card required.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
