Our company has been recognized as one of Hawaii’s Best Workplaces by Hawaii Business Magazine and Pacific Business News for the last seven years.Responsibilities: Fiber cable and innerduct installation and termination within a buildingCopper cable installation and termination within a buildingEFM and DSL line installationNetwork equipment installation, configuration and troubleshootingTesting of cable systems such as fiber ports and connectorsCO cable termination, e.g. wire wrap, amphenol connector termination, etc.Communicate with customers and building management to coordinate onsite workWork with internal project management and engineering team to troubleshoot, document and resolve technical issuesConduct site surveys to determine scope of workOther duties as requiredQualifications: High school education or equivalent3-5 years of telecommunications installation experienceExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to adapt to changing circumstances and work independentlySelf-motivated, reliable and accountableMust be able to follow production, safety & quality standardsJob requires frequent bending, stooping, twisting, turning, and working in unusual positions requiring full body mobilityMust be able to climb ladders and perform the necessary work while on the ladderMust be able to lift 50 lbsMust be able to carry 25 lbsMust have a valid driver’s licenseClasses or certifications in industry-related courses such as networking, telecommunications, etc. is a plusBICSI certification is a plusCandidates must successfully pass a drug screening and background check prior to employment.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time offParental leaveProfessional development assistanceVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftExperience:telecommunication installation: 3 years (Preferred)License/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: On the road
