Job Description : Entry Level Bookkeeper – Part-Time -OR- Full-TimeA busy local bookkeeping firm is looking for the right person to join our team of professionals as a bookkeeping specialist. While you’ll have the ability to work from home once fully trained and when the situation allows for it, this is primarily an onsite, in-office position.The ideal candidate will have significant computer literacy, as our company operates in a paperless office environment that relies heavily on technology and digital communications. Our bookkeepers have excellent communication skills and know how to build strong, long-lasting, relationships with clients. We do not require prior accounting or financial services experience, but meticulous, reliable, self-starters are essential. You must be able to work unsupervised on complex, exacting tasks and follow detailed workflows. Quickbooks, payroll or HR experience is a plus but not required.We offer a competitive wage and flexible leave.
