Job Description : Hooman For Hire is looking for experienced pet sitters, rewards-based dog trainers, and trainers-in-training to join our team! Our services include dog training, walks and outdoor adventures, drop-ins and in-home pet setting, maintenance grooming and yard waste cleanup, pet taxi services, and house sitting(without pets). We utilize Google apps, Slack, and Time To Pet for communication and scheduling. Professional Trainers include CPDT-KA, CPDT-KSA, ADT, KPA-CDT, and ABC-CDT.Trainers who work with Hooman For Hire set their own schedule, have the freedom to offer specific services, as well as to accept or pass on new client requests. Payment is commission-based, 60-75%, depending on business status certifications, and additional qualifications.Trainers who accept work through Hooman For Hire receive the full administrative support of Hooman For Hire, allowing them to focus more on the pets and less on the business side of the pet care industry (marketing, sales, client onboarding, schedule management, invoicing, taxes, insurance, etc). You will additionally receive the benefit of being a part of an amazing team, which is helpful for problem-solving, support, continuing education, and a general sense of community.Trainers must self-manage, adhere to the schedule they set with clients, provide services as outlines in the contractor agreement, and have a friendly rapport with both dogs and their people. All applicants must submit to a criminal background check, be (or able to be) pet first-aid & CPR certified, have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, and have a reliable vehicle with adequate insurance coverage.Vehicles with AWD or 4WD are preferred as clients are scattered throughout Anchorage including Hillside, Bear Valley, and Eagle River. A phone with clear photo capability and app accessibility are required. Professional Pet Sitting and Dog Walking certification course is provided, 50% reimbursement of Pet First Aid & CPR certification is offered, and opportunity for growth is available.
