Job Description : AMS / 49North Alaskan Adventures, based in Homer, Alaska, has a Captain position open for our Water Taxi & Bay Tour operation. The vessel size range is from 28′ – 40′. If you have the license, skills, love for Alaska, and the ability to be both professional and personable – apply now!We are looking for a honest & motivated person with a desire to succeed. If you operate a boat safely and can carry on a conversation with respect, dignity and a sense of humor when appropriate; DO apply!MUST…. be drug-free.MUST…. be punctual.MUST…. possess a U.S. Coast Guard OUPV License (minimum)MUST… possess a valid driver’s license.MUST… have experience…. driving a boat … with passengers … preferably in Kachemak Bay.We offer very competitive pay. Our boats and our service set the standard in Alaska Tourism.This is a full-time, seasonal position, 5 days a week with possible added days, with a base pay near $300.00 a day.Job Types: Full-time, TemporaryPay: Up to $300.00 per daySchedule:12 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
