Job Description : TITLE: Consumer Loan ProcessorREPORTS TO: Consumer Loan ManagerPurpose: Serve all members of our community with the utmost integrity, excellent service, competitive prices, and a sincere appreciation of their business.Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Support the financial services department2. Adhere to consumer loan policy, procedures, and regulatory requirements.3. Knowledgeable in and have the ability to offer all CU products and services to both members and potential new members of the credit union4. Process incoming loan applications, electronically, in person, and/or over the phone5. Finalize loan applications with the expected outcome of creation, funding, and/or closing(member/employee signatures)6. A clear understanding of how to read application notes, what is required of the decisioning loan officer, and to ask for assistance or clarification when needed.7. Thorough and diligent research when needed by using resources provided. This may at times include other departments of the credit union8. Effectively and professionally work with CU partners and other entities to include financial institutions, dealerships, DMV’s, etc. both locally and nationwide.9. Meet individual, departmental, and overall credit union goals.10. Other duties as required.The successful candidate will possess the following qualities:1. Must be able to multi task while maintaining a member first and teamwork attitude.2. Must possess the ability to work independently under stressful and time sensitive situations.3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.4.
