Mat-Su Health Services (MSHS), Inc. is an integrated medical, behavioral health and dental health care outpatient healthcare facility, dedicated to helping every patient receive the care they need, regardless of their ability to pay.
The model of care integrates family medicine, dental and behavioral health care. Within our behavioral health services, we are developing Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment services. We currently have individual, family and group therapies in outpatient ASAM level I, Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) and co-occurring treatment with our full range of mental health services, inside the integrated model.
We are looking for an LCSW with experience with SUD treatment and referral, ASAM criteria, who will participate in development of services and community relationships. The position has potential for growth to a leadership role as the program develops.
As the incoming clinician, you will be working in an environment of integrated disciplines and support: We have 2 full time physicians and 5 midlevel family practice medical providers and one addiction specialist Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner specializing in Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT). Additionally, we have a psychiatric program with one in-person Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and multiple part time psychiatric telehealth providers which include 2 physicians and 3 midlevels at various FTE statuses. We currently employ 6 full time LCSWs and have 3 open positions for LCSWs. The extended team includes 11 additional clinicians, either licensed or in process for licensure. You can take advantage of quality supervision and training to become credentialed as a clinical supervisor.
You will average 6 patients per day and/or group and family therapy, should expect 24 to 26 hours of billable time per week depending on the complexity of patients. In addition to seeing SUD patients, you will have opportunities for providing short-term therapy, work with the severely mentally ill and severely emotionally disturbed youth.
All clinicians of the agency share after hours 24/7 crisis coverage, almost entirely done on the phone from home. You are expected to take approximately one evening or one 24-hour weekend shift of call per 15-20 days for additional compensation of $5/hours for being on call and 1.5x salary hourly rate if called (average 1-3 phone calls after hours). On-call schedules are flexible and shared by the clinician team.
100% outpatient
$70,000 to $75,000 base salary
$15,000 sign-on bonus
$5,000 bonus after successful 90-day performance review
20 days of PTO, 8 paid holidays, 2 paid floating holidays, 1 paid birthday holiday

Get paid for being on call, very light call only 20 call days a year
