Job Description : THIS POSITION INCLUDES A $1,000.00 HIRING BONUS AND IS LOCATED IN SEWARD, ALASKA.Channel your passion for helping individuals with mental illness and disabilities and make a difference as a Clinical Associate at the SeaView’s Adult Mental Health Residential center. We are seeking a qualified and energetic person to join our team. We provide the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment. You have a wonderful opportunity to make extraordinary contributions in the lives of our clients by providing intensive behavioral health services.At SeaView, it is our mission to provide community based services that strengthen families, foster self-sufficiency and enhance quality of life. The AMHR Center houses up to 7 residents and is staffed 24/7 with providers working under the close direction of the on-site Clinical Supervisor. As a Clinical Associate, you will be working 1-on-1 and in groups with individuals with serious mental illness. Clinical Associates monitor client behavior, provide support and training in a variety of settings including in the AMHR Center and community locations (e.g., stores, shopping malls, parks). Clinical Associates also organize and lead healthy extracurricular opportunities for clients that advance skills and improve self-esteem.Compensation begins at $16.00 – $18.00 per hour depending on experience. Ability to work with and relate effectively to individuals with emotional difficulties.
