Job Description

The position is within the EMEA local Regulatory reporting team based in Bangalore. The group is a service-orientated business comprised of specialised individuals with knowledge and expertise in understanding, managing and delivering financial information to regulators. The group is also dedicated to adding value and improving efficiency, quality and controls.

The core responsibilities of the team are

Assist team in preparation of the firm’s reporting requirement to the German Central Bank (JPMAG)
Ensure timely and structured recons are performed while displaying strong understanding of the control framework around recons and break resolution/investigation
Assist in the identification and completion of manual workarounds, where necessary, to ensure completeness and accuracy of outputs in the operating and processing model
Review monthly and quarterly variances, investigate tends and work effectively with the Germany team to obtain and document business commentary for management
Partner with the local Regulatory Project team on new releases and assist the AG team with review of trade flows for new business initiatives
Preparation and review of regulatory reports/submissions for JP Morgan entities as per US GAAP / IFRS requirements on monthly & Quarterly basis
IFRS adjustment analysis and mapping to FinRep templates & Statistical reporting
Support various lines of business & Legal entity controllers with performance reporting and other query resolution especially on regulatory reporting

The successful candidate will assist in the successful implementation of the FinRep project and will have the following responsibilities:

Preparation and review of regulatory reports/submissions for JP Morgan entities as per US GAAP / IFRS requirements on monthly & Quarterly basis.
IFRS adjustment analysis and mapping to FinRep templates & Statistical reporting.
Mapping of financial information to relevant FinRep templates & Statistical reporting;
Support various lines of business & Legal entity controllers with performance reporting and other query resolution especially on regulatory reporting.

Ensure any defects are raised, monitored and re-tested for user acceptance
