Job Title : Customer Service Executive – Logistics
Reporting : Head SCM
Location : Turbhe (Mumbai)
Entity : Lubrizol India Private Limited
Summary of the Role
Accountable to ensure effective Logistics scheduling and Delivery to customers on time and safely by complying trade and legal regulations.
Responsibilities / Accountabilities:
Facilitate between Production, Supply Chain material planning & Logistics operation.
Ensure the logistics chain comply legal & trade regulations. And ensuring suppliers are aware of any special requirements in respect of shipment/ handling of hazardous goods.
Compliance of Indirect (GST) & other taxes.
Instruct carrier agents and supervise for ample action and results concerning transportation.
Monitoring safe receipt of goods by obtaining confirmation of delivery.
Develop and present status reports to improve and supervise logistics order performance.
Coordinate the sales of by-products.
Analyze Distribution Process and make cost effective improvement suggestions as necessary.
Participation in audits as required.
Implement new processes to improve efficiency & effectiveness of Logistics function.
Create avenues for cost control with a focus on process re-engineering.
REQUIREMENTS (education, experience and competencies):
Education / Certification:
Graduate Degree ( B.Com. / B.Sc.) or equivalent
Preferably holding Diploma in logistics Management
Experience and Skills:
5 to 8 years experience in Bulk Chemical Logistics planning & transportation,
Conversant with SAP
