The Role
Review & supplement the detailed project report/concept report and all design reports as available.
Main Duties
Assistance in preparation of Tender Document for procurement of system, rolling stock and depot equipment like System, AFC tender “design, manufacture, supply, installation, T&C”, Financial Viability Analysis for PPP sanctions and taking appropriate actions.
Review of the detailed design and construction design i.e construction design prepared by contractor for “design & construct” contract and review of AFC system installation design.
Assistance in supervision & monitoring (Design, Manufacturing, Supply, Testing & Commissioning) – Corridor 1 Line, Corridor 2 Line.
Overall co-ordination with the GEC team.
Project execution within quality and safety framework.
Construction activities as per approved GFC drawing.
Overall site and client management reporting & documentation.
Certification of quality work & interface co-ordination with civil & system contractors.
Issue and closure of NCR (non-conformance reports) and day to day planning of construction activities.
Contractors bills verification and certification.
Identification of Traffic requirements during construction and site obstructions.
Compliance of all safety & quality observations.
Processing of variations and change orders.
Compliance of all safety & quality observations.
Construction at site as per approved method statement.
Assistance in T&C for System integration test Corridor 1 line & trial running Corridor 1 line & System integration test Corridor 2 line & trial running Corridor 2 line.
Preparation of AFC/PSD Manuals.
Training to GMRCL staff and any other work assigned.
Experience
Graduate Engineer in Electrical/Mechanical.
Total 20 + Years’ Experience & 7 + years assignment Relevant Experience into Metro Projects
