Department Overview
Team includes subject matter experts providing very detailed Finance planning, tracking, analysis and reporting of financial results. The team also helps manage the company’s balance sheet, including funding, capital and investments; oversees internal real estate needs; supports acquisitions or divestitures; is responsible for financial controls; and supports corporate strategy. The group strives for excellence in customer service and client support by exhibiting behavior that is fair, reasonable, ethical, and professional.
About the Role
This individual contributor role is responsible for internal financial management reporting, including creating and reporting monthly metrics, leading reporting and analysis on various areas of interest to the business unit (including balances, volumes, pricing, fees, expenses, etc.) and providing meaningful insights into the underlying drivers impacting results.
Responsibilities
Lead internal management reporting including regular reports or packages with business unit, sub-business unit or product level details
Lead regular reporting and analysis on specific business unit metrics including, for example, balances, volumes, pricing, fees, expenses, headcount
Collect financial data, perform high-level analysis, test for accuracy, identify and resolve complex data and reporting problems
Support forecasting (annual plan, monthly forecasts) for business units, sub-business units, product areas or specific business unit metrics
Create and/or maintain systems, models or EUCTs to deliver reporting
Recommend business strategies or approaches and provide input to the finance leaders and business leaders based on various analyses
Improve the process by suggesting innovative ideas
Essential Qualifications
Post graduate in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Strong communication skills required to interact with senior leaders
Minimum 8-10 years’ experience in finance or accounting roles, including monthly close, management reporting, monthly business review decks
Collect, centralize and consolidate the data from different sources and present it to finance or business leaders for decision making
Collaborate with various finance and business employees on a daily basis to produce various metrics for business review
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills required
Exposure to key accounting and finance tools like Oracle Financials, Essbase and Tableau.
Desired Qualifications
Advanced knowledge of Excel including Pivot tables, V lookups, tracing formulas and running macros
Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint is preferred
Working knowledge in Tableau is preferred
Comfortable working rotational shifts including the night shift
