Job Description : Description
Should have good knowledge about Control-M architecture and Administrator activities.
Knowledge about Control-M parameters related with EM, Server and agents.Should have knowledge about Control-M utilities, networking commands.Good understanding of upgrade activities and related documentation like GAP analysis report, Upgrade Plan, LLD, HLD.Should be able to drive the upgrade activities end to end and successful completion of upgrade phases :
1) Requirement gathering & Plan Preparation phase
2) Upgrade/Implementation Phase
3) Post Upgradation
4) Rollback Phase :
Experience in control M upgrade from version old to new version would be added advantage.
Coordination with different vendors customer and other teams
Able to install Control-M components, fix pack and patches on windows cluster environment.
Have knowledge about Control-M compatibilities matrix.Should have knowledge about various database i.e. PostgreSQL, Oracle & MSSQL.Knowledge about control-M Integration with different application like LDAP, SNMP.Have knowledge about different types Control-M jobs (like SAP, FTP) and configuration part.Understand business use of different jobs and plan the upgrade downtimes accordingly with minimum outage to business.Able to understand existing environment and able to provide solution as per customer requirements and environment.Should have knowledge about troubleshooting like agent connectivity, control-m server issue, job upgradation from old to new version, FTP connectivityGood knowledge about operating system (Windows server) and cluster environment.
