Job Description : Sandy River Lodge – Fishing Guide
Aleutian Adventures is accepting applications for the position of Fishing Guide at the Sandy River Lodge, which is located 600 miles southwest of Anchorage. The Sandy River Lodge is in a remote location which has limited access to outside communication and has no access to any nearby village or city. The lodge attracts hunters and fishermen from around the world for the great adventure the Aleutians have to offer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The fishing guide is responsible for leading clients to unique opportunities for seasonal sport-fishing. The fishing guide is the primary point of contact for clients, while on-site.

Pay Rate:

Pay is DOE. Room and board are included along with transportation to and from the ARA Camp. The fishing guide must be up to date on all required licensing and permits and must be able to pass a post-employment physical and screening. This position will start around the end of May, ending on or around late July. After a short break, the season will begin again in early September and go through mid to late October.
