Job Description : Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital is hiring for a Patient Care Technician position, training provided. Are you looking for a full-time role as a Patient Care Technician but don’t have the right qualifications? Do you want to work in a fast-paced Hospital setting but don’t know how to get in the door? Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital has partnered with Premier Nursing Placement, a prominent Pinellas Park-based healthcare training company, to create an exciting new program that can get you hired and trained to work as a PCT within 6 weeks, no prior nursing experience needed. While you work, this program will prepare you to quickly obtain a Florida CNA license, which is required to take on the full responsibilities of a PCT. POSITION SUMMARY (PATIENT CARE TECHNICIAN): Under the supervision of the professional RN the PCT participates in patient centered care across the continuum and performs clerical functions that support unit operations. Provides quality care to patients as part of the primary team assigned by the unit RN Clinical Nurse or the RN Clinical Team Leader/Supervisor. Contributes to the goals of the department by providing an opportunity for the PCT to collaborate with all members of the care team and being accountable for the delivery of patient care at a demonstrated level of safe practice and as defined by JHACH policy.
Qualifications:
· Have obtained your high school diploma or GED equivalent
· Have a valid state driver’s license or proof of identification
· Pass a background check
· Complete a tuberculosis test and other health-related requirements
· Be at least 18 years old
