Job Description : Telepathy Labs is the creator of STELLA, a conversational AI that helps people at work. We are seeking individuals who can listen to STELLA’s conversations and score the AI’s ability on multiple dimensions, such as understanding what people say, identifying what they meant, responding appropriately to the problem, and accomplishing goals.
If you are patient, self-disciplined, love flexible hours at a good wage, and able to deliver high quality work without a lot of oversight – this job is for you! You will work with a nice and thoughtful team of people who work remotely and support each other through online collaboration.
This team is the glue between STELLA AI, a diverse population of customers, and the scientists and engineers who built it. The department evaluates how well the system is working, and takes notes for the scientists to help make it better. This work is done manually with patience and care, on behalf of customers – it is not scripted or engineered and does not require the ability to code.
Responsibilities:
Calling and texting STELLA and making sure the product is working properly
Monitor customer deployments and make sure the AI isn’t generating gross errors
Testing STELLA and looking for bugs and annotating digital files
Manual regression testing – comparing old versions to new versions and making sure corrections are working accurately
Creating data for the AI which includes but is not limited to making recordings, writing transcriptions, creating synonyms or sentences for the AI to learn, other text creation, audio verification, and natural language interpretation.
Manage work packages, report on how time was used, and complete projects on time.
Requirements:
Fluent English speaker
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
One year or less software QA experience. Applicants with no experience may be considered.
This is a full time position. Must be able to work 40 hours per week on a flexible but consistent daytime schedule.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Flexible and able to adjust to changing priorities
Must work well independently
