Position : Dispatcher
Job Description : Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, the Dispatcher will play a central role in ensuring operational success. This position requires strong communication skills, superb attention to detail, and a proactive approach to solving problems. This person will aid in resolving operational exceptions and will communicate directly with the company’s customer, notifying them of variances that will impact their operation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Communicate and resolve operational exceptions with drivers and managers
Proactively seek operational issues and work to resolve them
Keep the USPS informed of any trip delays or failures
Utilize Remote-Assist software to provide driver coaching, real-time driver issue resolution and driver support
Ensure driver logs into TMS, accepts route, completes route, and logs off
Document and escalate hardware and software TMS-related issues
Communicate and work together with Site Manager and Operations Support Specialist to promote full TMS driver adoption
Follow and maintain the culture and vision of the company
Qualifications
Strong computer skills and a very high attention to detail
Great interpersonal, telephone, written, and oral communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and mastery of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Ability to prioritize tasks and structure workload to increase productivity
Experience with Omnitracs One or AirWatch software preferred, but not required
Ability to communicate with drivers and managers alike
Bi-Lingual a plus but not required (Spanish)
Schedule
Afternoon and evening shifts available
Weekend shifts are required

Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
