As a Global Responsibility Lead on the US Community Impact team, you will lead program design, execution, and impact measurement across U.S. Community Impact initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams to support our partners, customers, and the local communities in which we operate. You will also play an integral role in representing Starbucks and fostering our strategic internal and external relationships with veteran, military/military family and first responder community as well as veteran non-profit organizations and key stakeholders.
Key elements of the role include:
Driving program design : Leads program or multiple projects and implements and sustains a program or multiple projects simultaneously, to advance community impact and create business value
Leading cross-functional teams across the enterprise : Establishes and facilitates high performing cross-functional teams to implement programs and/or participates in cross-functional teams effectively representing the team’s work.
Cultivating partnerships : Begins to design partnership plans to maximize impact, oversees partnership implementation, and proactively raises opportunities for further impact.
Impact Measurement : Proactively analyzes data from programs and projects and produces
summaries with insights and recommendations. Develops and proposes KPIs and articulates programmatic success.
We’d love to hear from people with:
Minimum 5 years diversified experience in program management, social impact and cross-sector partnership development
Demonstrated experience leading multiple complex programs, managing competing priorities, moving projects forward under tight deadlines in fast-paced environment
Cross-functional leadership with ability to co-create with internal and external stakeholders, influence others, build relationships, and work closely with a range of individuals with diverse interests, backgrounds, dispositions, and executive levels
Self-starter with strong sense of ownership and curiosity, and the ability to work both independently and inter-dependently with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
Demonstrated project management experience, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong written and verbal presentation skills as core requirements
Ability to and aptitude for navigating large, ambiguous and matrixed organizations
Military service and/or experience leading social impact work to support veterans recommended
