Summary
The VP of Information Technology is responsible for the design, development and implementation of organization and customer information systems, software application and IT support and infrastructure. Responsible for the execution of Company IT efforts by providing management oversight for IT Managers and Staff. Ensure effective departmental activities, policies and processes, continuous improvement, goals, and outcomes are met.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Direct, Manage, Lead and Develop IT staff
· Supervise and motivate IT teams to perform their responsibilities with quality and timeliness
· Continually evaluate the IT team members’ performance through establishing performance metrics, well defined documentation, and performance reviews.
· Develop employees through various methods including training and assignment of challenging tasks based on employee’s strengths and capabilities.
· Maintain a high-level of integrity and confidentiality within the IT Department and create an atmosphere of excellence Help communicate company and departmental goals as established by the CTO and help your teams carry them out.
Oversee Goals, Departmental Projects and Continuous Improvement
· With the CTO and Department Managers, help to establish departmental goals and projects that create a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
· Oversee the planning and completion of various IT related projects by establishing necessary tracking and monitors for monitoring of effective execution by teams.
· Establish a standard for tools, planning, executing, and deploying IT projects for Department Managers and their teams Provide adequate content and timely communication of IT requirements, goals, and processes across the department, to the CTO and when appropriate, to outside departments.
· Effectively seek and analyze customer satisfaction data, ticket data and customer facing department feedback to recommend IT related improvements.
· Use IT staff expertise and industry best practices to continually improve all IT processes and functions.
Oversee Effective Team Processes and Execution
· Working with the CTO, ensure that your teams understand the appropriate business, product and technical requirements to effectively execute their sprint related work.
· With Department Managers, established team’s working cadence and their performance goals whether that is in sprints or time box intervals Direct emergency IT situations by delegating appropriate duties, communicating among departments, and maintaining a productive and efficient environment.
· Ensure that the internal and external customer facing system’s software and hardware layers are secure and perform at the highest level Ensure department is compliant with ISO 9001 processes and procedures, continually seek improvements in related processes Help to prepare and manage departmental budgets.
Other duties as assigned
· Participate in projects assigned by manager.
· Maintain and follow ISO standards.
· Seek out and complete appropriate training, development and research.
· Knowledge of department processes.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year
