Job Description : Application / Team Overview:
From Shared Technology Environment(STE) we handle all administrative activities for a variety of middleware technologies. We also provide development support for hundreds of applications. This particular role is created for Talend Administrative and development support. Our primary function is to engineer and implement technology solutions that will help application teams avoid production outages and produce quality software. Our STE services include below.
Engineering
Onboarding
Reusable Tools
Environment Automation
License Management
SME support along with advanced troubleshooting
Design and Code Reviews
Initiatives that improve productivity and result in efficiencies
POCs and adoption of new products
Interact with SA, dba, developers and product and send requests to Architecture
Role Description:
All STE Services listed aboveDesign and Develop tools to standardize and automate monitoring , application support activities.Technical support to applications on trouble shooting Environment, software and application level issuesWrite, test programs using Unix Shell scripting, oracle PL/SQL programming ; Perform unit testing.Partner with cross functional teams across Development, Validation/QC, Production.Talend server buildsAdministration and development support involving trouble shootingProviding design inputs and code reviewsSupport Global teams across all of ICG supporting cutting edge solutions.Expertise in Talend products including Talend Studio, Talend Administration Center, Talend Big Data, Talend Metadata Bridge, and Talend Data Quality.Managing support services and change management using Servicenow application
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering(Computer/IT/Electronics)
Technical / Functional Proficiency: Knowledge/Experience:
Minimum of 5 years Talend development/administration experienceExperience in Talend Studio, Talend Administration Center, Talend Big Data, Talend Metadata Bridge, and Talend Data QualityExperience in template and code reuse practice.Experience in Java programmingExperience in Hadoop/Big data implementation using talendExperience in analyzing AMC tables and generating automated performance reportsExperience in developing code scanning utilities for talendStrong ability to work in a highly focused technical environment together with other motivated and driven professionals, as well as the ability to work independently.Team management and leadership experience and prior COE experience is a plus.Must have experience in participating in the management of multiple concurrent initiatives while relying on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
