We are seeking a VP Production Management Lead as part of a worldwide client facing service. Digital platform applications, within CIB Architecture and Engineering, spans across all global regions with distributed Data Centers in multiple locations. The role includes SRE processes, application and infrastructure support for the Digital Platform Services hosting over 100s+ financial applications and functions.
Description for Internal Candidates
We are seeking a VP Production Management Lead as part of a worldwide client facing service. Digital platform applications, within CIB Architecture and Engineering, spans across all global regions with distributed Data Centers in multiple locations. The role includes SRE processes, application and infrastructure support for the Digital Platform Services hosting over 100s+ financial applications and functions. As a hands-on lead, the team will be responsible for making sure the platforms, servers and components/processes are available 24X7 to the customers as part of a global team. You’ll work together, evaluating, selecting, implementing, integrating, maintaining, upgrading, documenting and designing the platform’s infrastructures. You’ll find new and creative solutions to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
The successful candidate will be responsible for local people management for all the resources, partnering closely with the global functional leads to mentor, performance manage and co-ordinate hiring, as well as acting as a local escalation point where required. The local lead will directly manage resources in Bangalore, responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the team, most notably including management of major incidents, root cause analysis exercises and partnering with senior application development and engineering teams on various team’s initiatives related to platform’s stability, resiliency, availability improvement programs, including SRE efforts on reducing toils.
