Your Role and Responsibilities
As Procurement Professional you are responsible to the core specialty in global procurement sourcing and is seen as a key specialty in this organization. The main responsibility is to source commodity demand in line with the global sourcing strategy. In addition to this the specialty follows the 7 step sourcing process which is the kyndryl global procurement sourcing model.
Responsibilities:
Deep industry knowledge of the commodity being sourced is required along with data and benchmarking insight. Meaning key skills are around sourcing techniques, analyzing data and supplier benchmarking.
The sourcing activities to be carried out will include understanding the demand, establishing the appropriate suppliers providing the cost effective and high quality supply in line with the global sourcing strategy created by the particular sourcing council.
Understanding the significance of the sourcing strategy and being able to legitimize the key goals and targets are important when engaging in negotiations and building supplier relationships.
Negotiating skills can vary in complexity depending on the sourcing activity, and supplier relationships are influenced by the strategic positioning of the supplier with regards to Kyndryl strategic sourcing decisions.
This specialty is responsible for significant spending decisions therefore documenting in a structured and auditable way are essential skills that must be present throughout the sourcing process.

7 year of relevant experience
Strong financial/analytical/problem-solving skills

Excellent leadership potentials
Able to work under pressure and tight schedules
Business acumen
SAP/ARIBA knowledge, Catalogues
Responsible for PO issuance , reconciliation and E2E process
Strong PC Skills in Excel, Power Point, Word
Must be flexible for future Travel requirements
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Fluent in French would be an asset
Experience in the Canadian Telco domain would be an asset
