Job Description : Position Description: You will join a growing high performing team committed to lowering the cost of health care for our members. The role of Claim Analyst II processes provider and member submitted claims, ensuring adjudication is accurate and timely.Additionally, you will participate in the advancement of our process and procedures to improve the team’s quality and efficiency.Responsibilities and Duties: Load, review and adjudicate claims submitted by providers and members electronically and by paperConsistently meet processing accuracy and volume standardsIdentify and resolve problematic claim issues, quality concerns, and other member or provider issues and appropriately escalateDocument all encounters and actionsDevelop a comprehensive understanding of MotivHealth claims processes and toolsMaintain compliance, privacy and confidentiality in all documentation, communications and correspondenceContribute to team wide goals to improve claims processes and integrate additional functions into our operationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities2+ years working as a claim analyst/processor at a health insurance or closely related company requiredKnowledge of HCFA and UB claim processesMedical terminology, CPT, ICD and Revenue Coding familiaritySelf-motivated, hardworking, organized and detail orientedTeam player with strong interpersonal skills who contributes to building high performing teamsAbility to work independently and takes initiative to improve process and proceduresTenacious investigator who enjoys troubleshooting and solving problemsFull time, in-office, routine business hours, (infrequent weekend and evenings).Outstanding culture and environment with lots of opportunity for growth.
