Job Description : Office Manager at Baer Bronze, a Fine Art FoundryOver the last 30 years Baer Bronze has grown into one of the leading Fine Art foundries in the United States. Our work is prominently displayed in world famous cultural sites including This Is the Place State Park in Salt Lake City, a Smithsonian Museum in Washington, DC, and many other locations throughout the country. Using the lost wax method of casting we transform artists’ sculptures into magnificent bronze pieces that will last for generations. We take great pride in providing the highest quality work for our clients and are looking for a high-performing office manager to join our team.Learn more about our company on Instagram at www.baerbronze.com and on our website at baerbronze.comResponsibilitiesYou will work in and manage the day-to-day operations of our company office including the following:General OfficeKeep the office organized and running efficientlyUse a range of office software, including email, schedules, and order databasesSupport in recruitment of new staff; occasionally assist in training and onboardingPlan company events, lunches, and employee appreciation initiativesFinancial (with a part-time bookkeeper)Issue customer invoices, receive payments, and make depositsBalance bank and credit card accounts using QuickBooks softwareProcess payroll and all tax paymentsManage employee benefits accountsWork with our production workers and suppliers to oversee ordering, purchasing and paying for required materials and equipmentCommunication (with a full-time scheduling and shipping person)Gather and relay information to customers, staff, and vendorsTake, schedule, organize and track ordersAnswer incoming calls and provide customer service as neededProactively work with customers to learn and fulfill their needsManage or assist with special projectsQualifications2 – 5 years of office experience (preferably office management experience)Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field preferredExperience with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks or other related computer software applicationsPrevious experience in the fine art manufacturing industry is NOT requiredNew hires must pass a drug screenYou’ll excel in this role if:You are a proactive problem solver who identifies needs and fulfills themYou have grit and persistence and don’t quit until you find answersYou are an excellent organizer and thrive on keeping others organizedYou are comfortable working with numbers and managing moneyYou are a good communicator and able to build strong rapport with employees and customersYou are customer-service oriented and can patiently navigate complex customer personalitiesYou have an engaging personality and optimistic outlookYou are teachable and open to feedback and instructionYou are goal oriented and work to set and achieve specific benchmarks to measure your performance and the performance of your teamBenefitsHourly wage starting at $20-30/hour depending on qualifications.
