Job Description : We are looking for reliable Handyman Apprentices to work with our team to help complete upkeep and repair tasks of our client’s properties. We’ll rely on you to work as part of that team to keep properties in perfect condition by doing various odd jobs. You must be well-organized and willing to learn. A keen eye for detail and physical stamina are valued greatly in this job. You will learn directly with our Handyman on the site.ResponsibilitiesPerform maintenance and light repairsPerform routine landscapingPaint and fill gaps or crevices (on walls, fences, etc.)Undertake light installation or carpentering (e.g. build cabinets) with licensed HandymanHave a keen eye to what the Handyman on site needs for the job and be ready to follow directionsAssist with electrical, plumbing, and appliance repairsUndertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks (e.g. faucet repairs)Identify and report the need for major repairs as best as possibleSkillsExperience as handyman is helpful, but will trainExperience with hardware tools and electrical equipment preferredBasic understanding of construction workBasic math skillsGood communication abilityApt in problem-solvingAttention to detailThis is an Apprentice job that will start out working as part of our team for $22 per hour.
