Job Description : Job Description
Transaction processing: To ensure that the Inputter/Authoriser achieves the daily target within turnaround time and Error free.
To ensure end to end processing of documents/ Nostro entries in a timely manner To ensure the effective transaction queue management and man management across the transaction levels viz.
Checking, Inputting and Authorizer level.
Understanding regulations and process To understand regulation and process and keep updated of the market developments.
To be well versed with Regulations and product Understanding on Banking products including Retail Asset, Retail Liability, Nostro, FX Deals etc.
To ensure transactions are checked as per regulations and process of the Bank To be well versed with Nostro Accounts, Vostro Accounts, Suspense Accounts & GL pertaining to Trade Finance, Treasury Operations, Retail Asset, Retail Liability, /clearing, cards, payments Ops, CMS, RBI current Account etc.
To ensure compliance to process/controls as prescribed by the regulations and/or the senior Management from time to time , applicable for Capacity Building To train the inputter/Authoriser and evolve a team equipped with adequate knowledge on Products and on applications.
To train the new joinees on Product, process, system etc.
Also to train existing team members as per training needs of respective employees.
Customer services & Follow up Customer follow up, service delivery in time and resolution of issues if any To provide requisite data related to reconciliation and control functions to the internal stake holders and Treasury Deals of pan India Customers To follow up with internal departments/Branches/Processing Unit and correspondent bank regarding clarification/resolution of pending recon entries.
Audit Activities To participate in Audit activity and ensure compliance to process/regulations ensuring that Unit gets a satisfactory rating in Internal Audits.
To respond to Audit queries in time To implement audit recommendation in the team so as to ensure that a particular audit observation are not recurred subsequently.
Liaison with internal and external customers/stake holders To liaise with internal customer like RA Ops.
RL Ops, CMS, WBO, TAG, TROPS, Mid office, Audit, BPRG, etc.
as well as external customers/vendors so as to ensure that deliverables are given well within time.
To communicate with internal stake holders for follow up and resolution for outstanding Nostro entries, pending Treasury documents, submission of regulatory/legal documents by Treasury customers etc.
Skills
Trade Finance ,Treasury & Remittance : Product Knowledge & Regulatory awareness
Product knowledge of Retail Asset, Retail Liability, Clearing, payment settlements and general banking Operations.
Knowledge of Competition Banks & Current trends
Planning and Organizing Skills
Business Communication
Well versed with MS-Office uses.
Exposure in dealing with Foreign Banks/Nostro/Vostro Relationship would be an added advantage
