Job Description : TITLE: Customer Care Representative; Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pmDEPARTMENT: Customer CareJOB SUMMARY: This position participates in the provision of customer services.MAJOR DUTIES:o Answers telephone and greets customers; provides information and assistance.o Adjusts customer accounts as appropriate.o Arranges payment plans for customers.o Accepts and processes service agreements, water meter applications, transfer deposits, and account terminations.o Responds to customer complaints.o Prepares and makes deposits.o Provides service to customers at drive through window.o Price night drop-box payments.o Operates a two-way radio to relay information to field personnel.o Balances petty cash.o Performs other related duties as assigned.KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED BY THE POSITIONo Knowledge of Water and Sewerage Authority policies and procedures.o Knowledge of the principles and procedures of record keeping.o Knowledge of the principles and practices of customer service.o Skill in prioritizing and organizing work.o Skill in the use of computers and job-related software programs.o Skill in oral and written communication.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:o Ability to read, write and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.o Sufficient experience to understand the basic principles relevant to the major duties of the position, usually associated with the completion of an apprenticeship/internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $1.00 per hourBenefits:Dental insuranceDisability insuranceEmployee assistance programFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offTuition reimbursementVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer Service: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location: One location
