We are looking for a Data Analyst who can be a part of our growing team and a key member in shaping the next phase of Walker Edison’s data driven strategy for success.
This is how you can contribute to our success:
Contribute to company success by increasing knowledge and supporting decisions with data
Collaborate with others on the data science team to execute projects that drive business success
Build ad-hoc analytics models that provide business leaders clear insight (short term / quick wins / business knowledge and analytics driven)
Build predictive and inference models that support the company strategy at scale (medium to longer term / in depth / statistically driven)
Present and report findings to stakeholders
Create and maintain code base from exploration through model deployment and maintenance
Qualifications
BS in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or similar quantitative field
1-3 years solving business problems using data
1-3 years using a programming language such as R or Python
Advanced Microsoft Excel abilities
Familiarity with cloud computing solutions such as AWS
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
History of using analytics to answer business questions
Capability to present to technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have but not required:
Master’s Degree in Statistics, Computer Science or Mathematics
Experience in the e-commerce industry
Experience developing and deploying models in a cloud / distributed computing environment using tools such as AWS EC2 instances, Docker, Kubernetes, etc.
