Job Description : We are looking for someone who is excited to work in addiction medicine and take care of our patients. Responsibilities include:- General customer service at front desk.- Managing patient schedules, receiving calls and scheduling appointments.- Managing client flow through the clinic as they visit with multiple providers.- Observing or monitoring patients in lobby/waiting room to identify basic medical or safety concerns. Communicating with clinical and billing professionals about client behaviors.- Directing clients through drug screening protocols.- Assisting with intake paperwork.- Collecting payments for co-pays and similar fees. (Not direct patient billing.)- Answering general questions about clinic policy, including medical policy and insurance or billing concerns. (Specific situations will be advised by medical staff and billing experts.)Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $15.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilityCOVID-19 considerations:Medical training on infection control procedures. Professional standards for safety and appropriate medical care.Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Work Location: One location
