Job Description : Sugar House Pets is looking for a Pet Care Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail, is an animal lover, and brings a positive attitude.We’re looking for a candidate who has availability 4-5 days per week (Mon-Sun) from 8:00-4:00. You may not work this entire shift each day, but must be available these hours.Pay starts at $16/hour. Average tips add on $2-3 per hour, so total is $18-19 per hour. Stellar employees often receive more than this.15 hour training course (online and in-person) required (pay for these 15 hours is $8/hour.)***No overnight pet sitting required!***ResponsibilitiesDrive from client home to client home to take care of their pets (walking dogs, feeding cats, indoor playtime with cats, backyard ball time with dogs, etc)Be on time to visitsRead each pet’s profile and ensure you’ve completed the clients’ requestsSend updates with personality and frame-worthy photos after every visitStay on top of communication with your manager/team/clientsQualifications18 years or older1 year minimum experience working with animalsHigh School DiplomaSome college preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHave a well-functioning phone cameraHave a well-functioning car 2010 or newerBe able to lift 50 lbBe able to be on your feet 6+ hours/dayJob Types: Full-time, Part-timePay: $17.00 – $20.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayWeekend availabilitySupplemental Pay:TipsLicense/Certification:Driver’s License (Preferred)Work Location: Multiple Locations
