Job Description : Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Quantitative Social Sciences, or equivalent practical experience
2 years of experience in data and analytics
Experience with SQL database queries/analysis and writing code in web/mobile development language (e.g., Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, PHP, Android, or iOS)
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in roles related to business analysis, statistical analysis, and Machine Learning
Ability to process high amount of data to drive business strategies and decisions
Ability to solve large unstructured business problems, within fraud investigations and risk management space
Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts with multiple cross-regional and cross-functional stakeholders
Excellent process/project management, prioritization, and multitasking skills, with the ability to navigate and influence cross-team stakeholders
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. They use technical know-how, excellent problem-solving skills, user insights, and proactive communication to protect users and our partners from abuse across Google products like Search, Maps, Gmail, and Google Ads. On this team, you’re a big-picture thinker and strategic team-player with a passion for doing what’s right. You work globally and cross-functionally with Google engineers and product managers to identify and fight abuse and fraud cases at Google speed – with urgency. And you take pride in knowing that every day you are working hard to promote trust in Google and ensuring the highest levels of user safety.
In this role, you will be responsible for improving user and merchant experience on Google Shopping and create a delightful experience for customers. You will identify and solve complex problems and innovate and optimize our processes and tools. You will also work with product and engineering teams to ensure that products and features provide a good, safe experience for users.

Responsibilities
Work with large and unstructured datasets to get actionable insights and develop solutions for scalable enforcement
Identify automation and efficiency opportunities, and drive solutions through analysis and/or cross-functional partnership
Conduct complex data analyses and identify opportunities/sources for signals, automation, and workflow improvements
Drive strategy and team focus on using data analysis to provide insights on data quality issues to improve the Shopping data quality
Increase effectiveness of strategy by identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement through people and tools/technology
