Job Description : Reporting to: Manager, Technology (Hardware & Infrastructure)
The System Administrator will be responsible for ensuring each staff member and Fellow has continuous and secure access to all the enterprise applications for their day to day work activities.

Primary responsibilities:
User Administration: Maintain and update enterprise software application platforms (e.g. Google Apps, Microsoft Office 365, Zoom, Salesforce, Adobe etc.) by creating or suspending users’ accounts and groups, adding or deleting from a group, resetting passwords.
Software Compliance: Ensure timely renewals of all enterprise software application platforms, that the number of software licenses is adequate for each team, and 100% of devices used in Teach For India have genuine software licenses.
System health monitoring and maintenance: Monitor the health of systems and take preventive steps to minimise downtime. Troubleshoot and fix issues that compromise system performance or/and access to an IT service. This responsibility also involves regular system improvements, such as installation of software patches, replacing or upgrading a software package or the hardware components.
Data Backup, Recovery & Compliance: Support users in recovering deleted/lost data. Ensure that all systems have Google Drive enabled for data backup and disaster recovery. Conduct internal audits on effective use of Google Team Drive for organisational and team knowledge.
Documentation: Create Standard Operating Procedures for installation and technical documents to resolve common issues faced by end-users. Maintain records of IT assets to plan for future IT investments and upgrades.

Support with key organizational areas such as Recruitment, Selection, Fundraising, Volunteering, Movement Building
Minimum Qualifications, Experiences and Expectations
1-2 years experience of working as a System Administrator in a small to medium enterprise.
Graduate degree in Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication is preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong understanding of System Administration with problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, Mac, Android) and platforms.
Ability to be resourceful, take responsibility and find practical solutions to problems.
Ability to work in a deadline-based environment.
Google/Microsoft certification in IT/System Administration is a plus, but not mandatory.
Experience working with mobile device management tools is a plus, but not mandatory.
