Job Description : Job SummaryRack N Road a locally-owned outdoor and automotive parts retailer and installation center specializing in setting up people’s vehicles so that they can get out and enjoy the outdoors is looking to hire 1-2 people for full-time hours in our Salt Lake City store.Rack N Road Car Racks and Hitch Superstores sell, rent, and install the racks (bike racks, ski racks, snowboard racks, kayak racks) of industry giants like Thule and Yakima. Rack N Road has cargo boxes for any budget, trailers, trailer hitches, and a wide variety of accessories for the inside and outside of your vehicle.Primary responsibilities include:Installing Car Racks, hitches, and other related accessories on customers’ cars in a timely fashion.Following appropriate safety measures at all times when working on customers’ vehicles.Keeping the installation bay clean and organized.Post-installation interactions with the customer, explaining how the product works and what work was completed.Other duties as assigned by the Store ManagerPrior automotive experience is strongly preferred but not required if you are willing to learn. Must be comfortable using tools and working on cars. Bike and Auto Mechanics wanted. A positive attitude and great customer service skills are a must. We look for someone who is: Self motivated, a people person, and has a great work ethic. Love for the outdoors and/or cars is a plus. Flexible hours are available.
