Job Description : Job Description
1) To provide technology solutions for business/operations/ requirements 2) Manage complex and key projects / enhancements 3) Monitor and review System errors and their management 4) Participate in Business and Technology Strategies and Planning to ensure both are aligned and IT applications deliver business needs.
5) Interact with technology partners to develop solutions, evaluate off the shelf technology applications and provide domain inputs in developing solutions.
6) Be Consultants to Business on impact on account of technology projects .
7) Manage Complete functional Testing for technology projects, including testing documentation for Projects, Enhancements and SFRs 8) Manage Project planning 9) Ensure compliance to regulatory requirements 10) Participate in discussions and provide inputs on features, operational aspects , directions during solutioning of requirements for complex and strategic items 11) Participate in Steering Committee Meetings for large projects to update Senior Management 12) Funding approval Tracking 13) Manage / Review Liaison with DBA/OS support team and other technical team 14) Consult and guide Business for Funding Proposal Notes Business Justifications and arrange for FPN initiation.
15) Intervention and escalation management 16) Interactions with Team Leaders/Unit Heads/ Function Heads of Operation Units, Product groups etc.

17) Project Management for key /complex/large projects .
Closely monitor Complex/Large / Key projects to ensure focus.
18) Review requirements documents and Functional specifications for complex and key requirements providing domain inputs.
19) Manage testing for Projects, Enhancements, SFRs , Technical projects.
20) Manage changes in Applications on account of interfaces .
21) Provide consulting to surround applications for interfacing with core banking system.
22) Scripting of extracts from Trade related banking systems to support operations and product-biz requirements.
23) System Error Management, review for applications under domain.
24) Review and provide inputs, alternate suggestions/solutions on process changes/implementation of new products to operations and business units.
25) Undertake prompt and conclusive action/decisions / recommendations in case of sudden system issues /operational failures/customer complaints .
26) Budget Management:-Review a.
Manage the budget for the year.
For the regular BAU requirements and future requirements for Infra and Interface management.
Track the budget expenditures and maintain the MIS.
Payments , fund utilization details for reporting d.
Invoice management e.
Review and Approve PO raised f.
Invoice management – Review and Approve invoices submitted by vendor for Payment clearance 27) Organizational Initiatives a.
Participate with seniors to periodically review Business Expectations and identify strategies, work out plans to meet objectives.
Keep constant track of Business technology Trends and map Business Requirements/ Solutions accordingly.
28) Vendor Management for enhancements a.
Periodically review Application / Solution effectiveness with Senior Vendor Resources, b.
Interact with vendor on-site / off-site delivery heads for project time lines, tracking slippages, and necessary escalations and arrive at remedial measures c.
Participate in discussions and reviews and conflict resolutions.
