Job Description : At smartSense, we’re looking for a quality assurance engineer to help us maintain our world-renowned level of quality and reliability.
The position offers you to take part in various projects, assessing software quality by designing and implementing software testing processes. You will hunt bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they’re dealt with.
Responsibilities:
Create detailed ,comprehensive and well structured test plan and test cases.
Estimate,priories,plan and co ordinate testing activities.
Identify, analyse and create detailed records of problem that appear during testing such as software defects, bug ,functionality issues, UI/UX issues and output errors.
Work directly with the products and engineering team to validate solutions and develop retesting procedures.
Identify opportunities for improvement in existing and new features and making constructive suggestions for change.
Conduct in-depth post release testing by executing test cases(manual)
Stay Up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.
Good understanding of mobile application testing.
Technical Expectations:
Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes. Context & knowledge of Automation testing is a plus.
Writing neat and clean test cases as per the specified requirement.
Experience with UI testing and strong understanding of user needs and ability to empathise with the user.
Understanding the mobile application and device testing.
Excellent interpersonal, written and spoken communication skills. Need to possess strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Very strong attention to detail while being able to multitask.
Tools : Test case management tools, defect tracking tools
A quick learner who is willing to the extra mile, collaborator and team player
Experience:
2+year of experience working as QA Engineer (Manual Tester).
Qualifications:
Finished Bachelors or Masters in Software Engineering.
Preferred: BE/ B. Tech. / MCA / MSc. / BSc
