Job Description : NY/NJ, Dallas, Tampa, NY/NJ Preferred6 mo contract, possible extension/conversion to FTEThe Mortgage Closing Manager role is critical role within the Citi Private Bank residential real estate business responsible for managing day to day mortgage closing operations to ensure successful pipeline management, full compliance to Citi processes and mortgage regulations, team management and productivity.ResponsibilitiesOversee day to day Closing related functions including compliance, training, pipeline management-Proactive management of the mortgage pipeline to ensure all loans are being closed in a timely manner-Actively follow up on loans that are “stalled” and work through the roadblocks to get them to the finish line (i.e. Closing)Works closely with upper management to define strategic roadmaps and drives executionDrive proactive identification and closure and follow ups for all compliance mattersOwn / Drive follow ups for Compliance and Audit deliverablesIdentify and drive the closure of all Operational IssuesEnsure staff are fully trained and competent in their roles and that they have the requisite management supervision on a daily basis; Ensure all staff are following policies and procedures and complying with all regulations and processesDrive process improvements to improve the client experience (internal and external)Increase team productivity including reducing processing turnaround timesDaily sign off on regulatory compliance items (daily “all clear” emails)Help drive the implementation of a new loan origination systemOwn and Drive Ops loss reportingAd hoc requests as neededJob Types: Full-time, ContractSalary: $70.00 – $85.00 per hourSchedule:8 hour shiftEducation:Bachelor’s (Preferred)Experience:Compliance: 2 years (Preferred)Risk: 1 year (Preferred)Mortgage Loan: 8 years (Preferred)Work Location: One location
