The Site Survey Manager is responsible for sales forecasting, hiring, training and the ongoing performance management for our technicians in the field. The site survey is a key activity in the sales process to qualify our customers’ homes and enable our Design and Engineering teams to finalize design details. Each market must be appropriately staffed to achieve site surveys within expected cycle times. The technician interactions with customers must represent Blue Raven in a positive light and the quality of their work must prevent return visits for additional information.
Essential Duties:
Greater than 50% of site surveys occur within 24 hours of customer contract signing
Daily calendar optimization
Anticipate sales volume and staff appropriately in each market
Train Support staff to adhere to scheduling best practices
Less than 5% of site surveys result in a resurvey
Identify opportunities to avoid resurveys daily
Ensure that feedback is delivered to site surveyors in a timely manner to continuously improve quality
Place struggling employees on Performance Improvement Plans and terminate as necessary
Collaborate with leaders across the organization to drive improvement through data-driven root cause problem solving
Manage payroll on a bi-weekly basis for 50+ field employees
Distill complex topics into easily understood reports with both quantitative and qualitative context for recommendations
Additional problem solving and analysis as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree strongly preferred
Effective people leader with experience managing large and/or remote teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products – Excel and PowerPoint skills
Detail-oriented and capable of driving multiple tasks simultaneously in an organized manner
Self-motivated and strong work ethic with the ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload, and achieve effective results
Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000 annual
